* In Hai Phong - One of the places where storm No. 3 made landfall with the strongest winds and caused the most damage, the Agribank delegation led by comrade Pham Toan Vuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director, along with representatives of several units at the headquarters, came to encourage and share with staff and employees, and support Agribank branches in the affected areas.
The delegation visited and encouraged customer Pham Van Nhieu in Tien Lang district - Hai Phong, who suffered damage of about 200 tons of fish fry, fish meat (including catfish, sturgeon and red tilapia) and 3 camps, with estimated damage of 13 billion VND.
With the specificity of network operations associated with agricultural and rural areas that are subject to many risks and impacts of natural disasters, directly affecting the lives, production and business of people, businesses and Agribank's operations, the General Director of Agribank directed branches in the area to proactively contact customers who borrow capital, grasp the damage to promptly have appropriate support solutions; ABIC Insurance Company promptly grasps information and carries out procedures to compensate customers for damages; Branches proactively coordinate with local authorities to implement social security work for families suffering from human and property damage, areas heavily affected by the storm... Surveying the actual situation in Tien Lang district and the production and business establishments of some customers borrowing capital in the area, General Director Pham Toan Vuong and the working delegation presented support to the staff and employees of Tien Lang district branch and Vam Lang branch to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3. The General Director also noted that the circulation after the storm will continue to be complicated, branches need to continue to proactively prevent rain and floods, ensure safe operations, and smooth transactions.
* In Quang Ninh: Coming to grasp the situation and encourage and share with branches in Quang Ninh province, the Agribank working group led by Deputy General Director Doan Ngoc Luu acknowledged the efforts of the branches in implementing measures to prevent and respond to storm No. 3 and overcome the damage.
Storm No. 3 was very strong, the scene showed that the consequences caused by the storm were very large, causing great damage to the property of people and businesses in the area. Deputy General Director Doan Ngoc Luu said that Agribank will promptly deploy specific solutions to support customers and people in the area to soon overcome difficulties, losses, and restore operations.
* In Hai Duong province: Deputy General Director Nguyen Quang Hung and the Agribank delegation visited and encouraged the staff and employees of Agribank Hai Duong branch and Hai Duong II branch. The delegation also visited a number of production households and businesses borrowing capital in the area that were severely damaged by storm No. 3.
Due to the impact of storm No. 3, the entire 6-acre melon growing area of Mr. Doan Van Dat's family in Hai Duong was damaged and could no longer be harvested.
Deputy General Director Nguyen Quang Hung emphasized that Agribank branches in the area need to promptly overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3; promptly deploy specific solutions to support customers to overcome difficulties, overcome damage, and soon stabilize their lives.
* In Thai Binh province: the working group led by Deputy General Director Tran Van Du worked with Agribank Thai Binh branch and Bac Thai Binh branch to grasp the situation. Representatives of Agribank branch leaders in the area quickly reported on the damage caused by storm No. 3. Immediately after the storm, the branches and transaction offices started cleaning, refurbishing and operating normally to serve customers on the morning of September 9.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Agribank, Deputy General Director Tran Van Du visited, encouraged and highly appreciated the response and proactive overcoming of consequences of the branches, so that operations were not interrupted, meeting the transaction needs of customers and people. The Deputy General Director requested the units at the head office to support the branches to promptly overcome the damage, ensure facilities, brand recognition, and not affect business activities in the last months of the year. The branches focused on calculating the damage of loan customers and proposing and implementing timely support policies so that customers could soon stabilize and restore production and business.
