The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued an official dispatch on organizing an investment promotion conference, awarding the Decision approving the investment policy, the Decision selecting the Investor and the Investment Registration Certificate for a number of large projects in early 2025.
Official dispatch sent to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee; Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.
Accordingly, based on the Working Regulations of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, at the request of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board in the submission dated July 25, 2025, the Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee reported and asked for opinions from the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing a Conference on investment promotion, awarding Decisions approving investment policies, Decisions selecting investors and Investment Registration Certificates for a number of large projects in the province.
The submission dossier includes: Submission from the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board and Draft Submission from the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee Standing Committee to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee shall submit and seek opinions from the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee according to regulations.
At the investment promotion conference of Bac Ninh province held in September 2024, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh (old) awarded many investment policy decisions, investment registration certificates, and memorandums of understanding to a series of investors such as Samsung, Foxconn, Amkor, Goertek... with a total investment capital of more than 5.5 billion USD.
After the merger, Bac Ninh has about 30 industrial parks with a total area of up to thousands of hectares. Bac Ninh's economic scale (GRDP) ranks 5th in the country.
Industrial parks in Bac Ninh strongly attract investment capital, especially FDI capital.
According to the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, in the first 6 months of 2025, the whole province of Bac Ninh has attracted more than 12 billion USD in converted investment capital. In terms of FDI attraction alone, Bac Ninh province ranks second nationwide, after Hanoi city.
