At the National Assembly House, Politburo Member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Standing Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien chaired the ceremony to announce and award the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on personnel work.
Also attending were Members of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Hong; Chairman of the Delegate Affairs Committee Nguyen Huu Dong; Chairman of the Economic and Finance Committee Phan Van Mai.
On the side of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), there were Comrade Pham Duc An - Member of the Party Central Committee, Governor of the SBV; Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Canh - Deputy Governor of the SBV.
Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee appointed Ms. Ha Thu Giang, Director of the Credit Department, State Bank of Vietnam, to hold the position of Assistant to Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Hong.
Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien stated clearly that the appointment is a recognition of the training, striving, and dedication of comrade Ha Thu Giang; and also expresses the requirement to continue to consolidate and improve the quality of the staff of advisory and assisting officials of the National Assembly leadership in the current period.
