Sustainable foundation to attract investment
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Ho Van Muoi - paid special attention to administrative reform and raising the PCI index.
He directed the synchronous implementation of solutions to support businesses, improve the investment environment, promote digital transformation and enhance communication to spread the spirit of innovation.
The province also focuses on inspecting and strictly handling harassment, updating the database and connecting the administrative system with the Smart Monitoring - Operation Center (IOC), towards a modern, public and transparent administration.
With clear strategic orientation and drastic steps in reform, Dak Nong is gradually affirming its position as an attractive investment destination in the Central Highlands region.
In 2022, Dak Nong's provincial competitiveness index (PCI) ranked 38/63 provinces and cities. This is the basis for the province to promote reform solutions to improve operational efficiency and attract investment.
By 2023, the province's PCI had reached 67.79 points, up 17 places, rising to 21/63 and leading the Central Highlands region. This is a clear demonstration of positive changes in management and administrative reform in the locality.
In 2024, Dak Nong will continue to improve its administrative reform rating, ranking 50th nationwide - up 1 place and 1.18% compared to the previous year, ranking second in the Central Highlands region.
The people's satisfaction index with public administrative services (SIPAS) also reached 83.09%, an increase of 1.88% compared to 2023, ranking 37th out of 63 provinces and cities. These figures reflect a clear improvement in the quality of service of state administrative agencies.
In 2025, Dak Nong aims to resolve over 98% of administrative procedure records on time. The Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches and localities to enhance the responsibility of leaders in directing, inspecting and supervising.
At the same time, the province continues to reduce the time for handling procedures, simplify processes, promote the use of online public services and build e-government.
The specific goal for the year is to ensure that 100% of administrative procedure records are monitored on the processing status on the information system, helping people and businesses monitor and evaluate progress.
The province also aims to minimize late records, digitize all valid procedures, and integrate public services into the National Public Service Portal. The rate of electronic settlement results is expected to reach 100%, and the entire online processing file will reach at least 80%.
