Recently, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held a ceremony to receive funding to support the Program "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" from officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the banking sector. Representative of the banking sector - Governor Nguyen Thi Hong - presented the donation amount to 82 billion VND, exceeding the initial target by 36.6%. This is the result of the contribution of the sense of responsibility and affection of the staff and employees of the entire industry, including the active and pioneering participation of Agribank.

Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Nguyen Thi Hong affirmed: The amount of donations is not only material, but also shows the affection, sense of responsibility and the mutual love and affection of union members and employees in the banking industry. This is also an opportunity to arouse and spread the spirit of great national unity, the spirit of "each person contributes a hand", "the strong support is great, the weak support is small" so that the roofs are built not only from bricks and tiles but also from love and solidarity of the whole community.
As one of the banks with the largest number of officers in the banking system, officers and employees nationwide, Agribank plays an important role in the movement to donate 1 day's salary for the poor, for a warm home for the people. With the amount of donations of 12.8 billion VND from Agribank's staff and employees at transaction points in remote areas, to headquarters... the spirit of sharing and kindness has spread strongly, contributing to realizing the goal of building more than 1,366 new houses - houses of hope, of a new life more spacious and safer for disadvantaged households.

For many years, Agribank has been one of the leading banks in supporting the construction of houses of gratitude, solidarity houses, houses for poor households, veterans, meritorious people and vulnerable groups. In the past 5 years, Agribank has spent hundreds of billions of VND to build thousands of houses in all provinces and cities - from the northern mountainous provinces, the Central Highlands, the flood-affected areas to the Mekong Delta.
Not only contributing salaries, but for many Agribank staff at the facility, directly participating in surveys, encouraging, and giving houses to people is also a profound experience. The tears, smiles and warm handshakes of the people on the day they received the house are an invaluable source of motivation for Agribank staff to continue their efforts in the journey for the community.
From every heart, building thousands of shelters, Agribank continues to be a solid support on the humanitarian journey for a Vietnam where there are no more poor people living in temporary houses.
