Accordingly, Luxury Goods Danang Company Limited, headquartered on Pham Van Dong Street (Son Tra District, Da Nang) was fined VND100 million and forced to destroy counterfeit goods.

Previously, on May 19, the authorities inspected the business activities of Luxury Goods Danang Company.
At this time, the facility is selling 70 handbags of Chanel branded goods; 10 handbags of Hermes branded goods with signs of being counterfeit goods of Chanel and Hermes brands that are protected in Vietnam.
The total value of the goods was determined at the time of inspection to be 41.5 million VND.
According to Lao Dong on the morning of June 11, the store was closed, dragging curtains and covering it, with no signs of activity inside.
Some households living in the area said that since the authorities inspected and fined the store, the curtains have been lowered, the store has been closed and has completely stopped operating.

In addition, the People's Committee of Da Nang City has also issued a Decision to administratively sanction 99% of Da Nang business households headquartered on Tran Phu Street (Hai Chau District, Da Nang City) with the amount of 45 million VND and force the destruction of counterfeit goods.
Previously, the authorities inspected business activities at a store owned by a 99% Da Nang business household and discovered 9 Rolex branded wristwatches, 15 Chanel branded handbags, and 9 pairs of Hermes sandals, which are counterfeit goods of Chanel, Hermes, and Rolex brands that are protected in Vietnam.
The total value of the goods was determined at the time of inspection to be more than 46.4 million VND.
The results of the verification and work, the market management force concluded that 99% of Da Nang business households had committed administrative violations to display and sell counterfeit goods with the quantity and total value of the above-mentioned violating goods.

On June 3, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Tran Chi Cuong chaired a meeting with the City's Steering Committee 389 and related units on combating smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods, infringement of intellectual property rights, issues that are directly affecting the city's urban image and tourism environment.
According to the report of the Steering Committee 389 of Da Nang City, from May 15-30, the authorities inspected 90 cases, handled 51 violations with 54 acts related to smuggling, banned goods, trade fraud and infringement of intellectual property rights.
The total amount of administrative fines is up to nearly 590 million VND.
