On May 30, according to information from Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to administratively sanction Hoa Binh 479 Joint Stock Company (located at 54 Nguyen Du Street, Ben Thuy Ward, Vinh City) for late payment of compulsory social insurance, unemployment insurance and health insurance for employees.
The enterprise was fined VND 150 million for late payment of compulsory social insurance and unemployment insurance for 408 employees (as of March 31, 2025). In addition, the company was also fined an additional VND 30 million for late payment of health insurance for the above-mentioned number of employees (as of September 30, 2024).
The total administrative fine is 180 million VND. At the same time, the enterprise was forced to pay an additional amount of more than 10.4 billion VND in unemployment insurance and compulsory social insurance remaining, along with interest calculated at 2 times the average social insurance fund investment interest rate of the previous year.
The deadline for implementing remedial measures is 30 days, starting from May 29, 2025.
According to the representative of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, the above strict handling aims to ensure the legitimate rights of employees and deter violations of insurance obligations at enterprises.
