On the afternoon of October 11, An Giang province held a meeting to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2024). Mr. Ho Van Mung - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee - along with representatives of departments, branches and more than 100 delegates who are typical entrepreneurs in the province attended.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ho Van Mung highly appreciated the efforts of enterprises and entrepreneurs in production and business, thereby contributing significantly to promoting the province's socio-economic development.
Mr. Mung also acknowledged and shared with businesses and entrepreneurs the difficulties from the objective impacts of the domestic and international situation on production productivity and business efficiency.
“We not only deeply appreciate that businesses and entrepreneurs are the pillars and backbones that create the economic vitality of the locality, but also consider businesses and entrepreneurs with relationships with the government as the perfect feet of the body,” Mr. Mung emphasized.
According to Mr. Mung, if one of the two feet is not synchronized, or one foot is strong, the other is weak, without timely mutual support, it will not be possible to create a solid step. Therefore, as the head of the state agency of An Giang province, Mr. Mung pledged to provide the best possible support to help businesses and entrepreneurs maximize productivity and business and production efficiency.
With that spirit, Mr. Mung called on businesses and entrepreneurs to boldly express their difficulties and obstacles, and boldly propose new and suggestive ideas for the province to consider, support and realize as soon as possible.
“Not only at this meeting, but whenever businesses and entrepreneurs need me, I always listen and care to support them,” Mr. Mung shared.
Mr. Mung said that right after this meeting, he will direct the authorities to advise the most feasible solutions to promote the development of local specialties, strengths and especially OCOP products to further promote their strengths in the home market and many key domestic tourism localities in the coming time to create an increasingly sustainable economic and social vitality in Uncle Ton's homeland...
On this occasion, Mr. Mung awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 8 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in supporting businesses and entrepreneurs in 2024.
