From the beginning of May 2025 to now, in Quang Ninh province, the authorities have discovered many cases of trading in goods of unknown origin and seized many tons of goods.
In particular, on May 27, the authorities inspected a frozen warehouse in village 5, Quang Nghia commune, Mong Cai city, and discovered more than 25 tons of frozen food of unknown origin.
These items include: 25 tons of pipeline ink, 300 kg of beef books and 160 kg of chicken feet, contained in cardboard boxes and plastic trays. Through inspection, all goods did not have information about the origin and source, many products showed signs of odor, not ensuring food hygiene and safety.
On May 26, the authorities discovered and seized a warehouse containing nearly 8 tons of chicken feet of unknown origin in a cold storage in Hong Phong area, Ninh Duong ward, Mong Cai city.
Previously, on May 6, 2025 alone, Po Hen Border Guard Station, under the Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard, discovered 6 cases of illegal transportation of frozen sausages across the border, seizing a total of more than 4 tons of sausages.
