After two strong gaining sessions recently, investor sentiment is being excited. This has helped the stock market enter the morning trading session today (August 25), continuing the upward momentum from early on.
In which, the contribution of VIC shares is accounting for almost the entire point with VN-Index increasing by 4%, while the electronic board is relatively negative when red prevails, showing the "green shell red core" state as in recent times.
Closing the morning session on August 25, VN-Index increased by more than 18 points to 1,807 points. Liquidity reached more than 10,000 billion VND. Real estate is the group that pulled the index up the strongest with the impact from VIC, VHM, VRE.
Notably, PNJ shares continued to increase with huge liquidity right from the opening of the trading session. In just the first 45 minutes of the session, this code matched orders for nearly 10 million shares. However, towards the end of the morning session, profit-taking selling pressure of this stock appeared after consecutive ceiling increase sessions. At the end of this morning session, PNJ shares decreased by 2.58% to a price of VND 41,550/share.
Tien Phong Securities Company (TPS) believes that if it continues to maintain increasing inertia with stable liquidity, the current uptrend may shift from a technical recovery to a process of changing the medium-term trend structure, with the 1,900 point zone being the next important resistance.
Meanwhile, at a more cautious level, HSC Securities Company believes that selling pressure has begun to increase as VN-Index approaches 1,800 points. Combined with the rapid recovery in the last 2 sessions, the possibility of fluctuations or profit-taking in the coming sessions needs to be noted.
If VN-Index decisively surpasses 1,800 points with positive liquidity and the leadership of large capitalization groups, the upward trend may continue to expand. Conversely, if profit-taking pressure appears, the 1,750 - 1,760 point zone will be a near support zone to be monitored.
For short-term investors, HSC recommends maintaining a reasonable proportion of stocks, prioritizing businesses with positive business results, solid fundamentals and still maintaining relative strength compared to the market. Fluctuations can be used to restructure the portfolio in the direction of improving the quality of stocks held.
For new positions, HSC notes to limit chasing purchases when VN-Index is close to the resistance zone of 1,800 points. Investors can wait for technical adjustments to consider disbursing portions.
