The Industrial Investment and Development Corporation - JSC (Becamex IDC, stock code BCM) has just announced the results of the second written consultation with shareholders in 2025.
Accordingly, 98.48% of Becamex shareholders agreed to change the enterprise's name to Becamex Industrial Investment and Development Group - JSC, abbreviated as Becamex Group.
At the same time, change the head office from the 9th floor, WTC building, Tower, No. 1 Hung Vuong street, Binh Duong ward, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Hoa Phu ward, Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province) to the 10th floor, mPlaza Saigon building, No. 39 Le Duan, Saigon ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Becamex IDC was a state-owned enterprise under the People's Committee of Binh Duong province. In 2018, this enterprise was equitized, but the state still holds the majority of shares with a controlling rate of over 90% of charter capital.
On July 1, 2025, Binh Duong province merged into Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee took over shares in these enterprises from Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, including a large stake in Becamex IDC.
According to records, in recent months, Becamex IDC has had many notable changes. At the end of June 2025, the Board of Directors of Becamex IDC dismissed Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuan from the position of General Director - Legal Representative of Becamex IDC for the second term of 2023 - 2028. At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Hoan Vu was appointed as General Director and legal representative of the enterprise.
Regarding business activities, in 2025, this enterprise has started 6 key projects with a total investment of 60,000 billion VND. Major projects include: Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4, Cay Truong Industrial Park, Bau Bang Industrial Park expansion and 2 social housing projects.
On October 1, Becamex IDC had a working program with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. At the meeting, the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee agreed that Becamex will conduct research on the city's railway projects.
