Graduating with a Law degree from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, Ngoc Ha, born in 2001, residing in Tay Hieu ward, Nghe An, once faced many stable job opportunities in the city. However, after nearly a year of consideration, Ha decided to return to her hometown to start a business.
For the young girl, this is not an impulsive choice but the result of careful consideration. "I want to spend more time with my family, so I have researched where to start when I return to my hometown, because the opportunity to work in the right major in my hometown is not easy," Ngoc Ha shared.

In the early days of returning, Ha spent time surveying the reality and experiencing many products in the mountainous areas of Nghe An. From there, Ha realized that her hometown has many advantages in agricultural products, but brand building and promotion are still limited. She chose her own direction, becoming a "agricultural storyteller", to promote the value of local products.
Currently, Ngoc Ha takes on many different jobs, but all revolving around the field of agriculture. Ha works in marketing for a farm applying technology to production, and also directly participates in cultivation with her family, purchasing and distributing seasonal agricultural products from people.
According to Ha, consumer confidence must always be put first. "When I understand each product clearly, I can confidently advise, as well as create confidence in the quality of rural agricultural products," Ngoc Ha said.
From passion, Ha persistently learns and researches how to create content and build videos on social media platforms. Not investing in elaborate advertising, she chooses to record the production process in a realistic way.
Telling stories of Nghe An agricultural products on digital platforms
With Ngoc Ha, maybe the video is not really meticulous, but it must be real. That realism helps customers trust for a longer time. Thanks to this approach, Ha's TikTok channel reached tens of thousands of followers, many videos have high interaction and products are well received by customers.
Leaving the city to return to her hometown to start a business when she was young, Ngoc Ha could not avoid initial difficulties, especially doubts about capacity and pressure about capital sources. In the early days, Ha was almost self-reliant, proactively researching and learning from reality.
It was not until the following years, when he accumulated knowledge and proved his perseverance, that Ha's work gradually stabilized, receiving trust and support from those around him. After 3 years of persistence, although the model has not developed on a large scale, Ha has gradually built a stable foundation, creating a premise for long-term directions.
Returning to my hometown not only opens up a new direction in work but also changes Ha's rhythm of life. "Since returning to my hometown, life has slowed down but is also clearer. Every day I identify my goals," Ha shared.
Not only developing her personal economy, Ha's business model also contributes to supporting local people to consume agricultural products. If before she had to proactively find sources of goods, now many households have contacted to cooperate.
For Ngoc Ha, the measure for her decision to leave the city to return to her hometown to start a business is not in scale or profit, but in simple values such as "the smiles of everyone around". Although still under pressure, Ha has goals to pursue every day and clearly feels the positive changes.
The greatest joy of the young girl is when the product is known by many people, and the brand is increasingly trusted. Ha sees it as a meaningful achievement of the journey back to her chosen homeland.
Towards sustainable development, Ngoc Ha is gradually building a plan to expand the business model, shifting from individual business households to cooperative models to increase the ability to link and consume agricultural products for local people.
In parallel with that, Ha still maintains her work at the farm and continues to develop personal communication channels. Through videos recording the production process, Ngoc Ha hopes to spread agricultural practices in a new direction: applying science and technology, minimizing the use of chemicals, towards clean agricultural products for consumers.
What she wants to maintain is the core value of the "Ha Xu Nghe" brand - the journey of being a "agricultural storyteller".
