Working with the delegation were leaders of War Invalids Nursing Centers, Centers for Care and Nurturing of People with Meritorious Services; leaders of Agribank Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa Branches and representatives of local agencies and units.
In the program, the Agribank Trade Union presented 50 million VND to Lang Giang War Invalids Rehabilitation Center (Bac Ninh), 100 million VND to Thuan Thanh War Invalids Rehabilitation Center (Bac Ninh), 50 million VND to Hung Yen Provincial Center for nurturing and nursing people with meritorious services (old Thai Binh province), 100 million VND to Thanh Hoa Provincial Center for nurturing and nursing people with meritorious services, and 50 million VND to Nho Quan War Invalids Rehabilitation Center - Ninh Binh Provincial Center for Nursing People with Meritorious Services.
In the solemn and emotional atmosphere of the July days of gratitude, the working delegation cordially inquired about the health and life of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and people with meritorious services being cared for at the Centers; and expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of previous generations in the cause of national liberation, national reunification and national defense.
Comrade Tu Thi Kim Thanh - Member of the Member Council, Chairman of Agribank Trade Union, emotionally shared that the development achievements of the country today are exchanged for so much blood and bones, sacrifices and losses of previous generations. Therefore, each gratitude trip in July is of special significance, an opportunity for today's generation to express gratitude, and at the same time remind each official, union member, and worker to always cherish the value of peace, continue to preserve and promote the patriotic tradition of the nation.
Comrade Tu Thi Kim Thanh said that Agribank is a state-owned commercial bank with a wide network, present from urban areas to remote areas, border areas, and islands, always steadfast in its mission of accompanying the development of agriculture, farmers, and rural areas. Along with business tasks, Agribank always identifies responsibility to the community as an important part of the journey of sustainable development. Every year, Agribank spends hundreds of billions of VND to implement social security programs, care for people with meritorious services, support education, health, poverty reduction, disaster recovery and many community activities across the country.
Emphasizing the meaning of the gratitude activity on the occasion of July 27, Comrade Tu Thi Kim Thanh affirmed that this has become an annual activity of the Agribank Trade Union. The gifts presented today send the feelings, gratitude and responsibility of Agribank union members and workers to wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and people with meritorious services to the revolution. At the same time, the Agribank Trade Union will continue to coordinate with professional departments and trade union levels to regularly maintain programs to care for people with meritorious services, contributing to the good implementation of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies on "Gratitude".
Representatives of the War Invalids Nursing Centers and Centers for Care and Nurturing of People with Meritorious Services respectfully thanked the feelings and concern of the Agribank Trade Union and officials and employees in the system. The gifts and sincere sharing of Agribank show deep concern, contributing to better caring for the material and spiritual life of war invalids, sick soldiers and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
Towards July Gratitude, trade union levels and Agribank units across the country have been and are simultaneously implementing many practical activities such as organizing delegations to visit and give gifts to War Invalids' Nursing Centers, policy families; offering incense at martyrs' cemeteries, red addresses; caring for union members who are war invalids, relatives of people with meritorious services to the revolution... Each activity sends out gratitude, gratitude and the spirit of responsibility of Agribank to those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation.
