On March 9, according to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, many gas stations in Thanh Sen ward still sell goods normally, without controlling the quantity sold to cars and motorbikes.
The listed selling price at gas station No. 1 on Tran Phu street (Thanh Sen ward) of Petrolimex for RON 95 gasoline is 27,580 VND/liter; diesel oil is 31,140 VND/liter.

According to Mr. Phan Thanh Hai - Head of Business Department of Petrolimex Ha Tinh Co., Ltd., the company has a total of 82 gas stations in Ha Tinh province.
At this time, the company still ensures supply for customers, vehicles when coming to stores with demand are filled with cylinders. However, in cases of bringing many plastic cans and drums to buy gasoline and oil, it will be necessary to verify and clarify, if the demand is legitimate, it will be met.
In case of buying for storage, sales will be refused because of potential fire safety risks, and at the same time, it also avoids causing supply scarcity, affecting the needs of others.
According to Mr. Hai, the fact that people bring plastic cans and drums to buy gasoline and oil for storage mainly occurs in coastal areas, where many fishermen go to sea.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khoa - Head of Ha Tinh Market Management Sub-Department - said that Ha Tinh province currently has more than 240 gas stations.
Faced with the situation of high gasoline and oil prices due to the impact of the war in the Middle East, the Ha Tinh Market Management Sub-Department has deployed forces to propagate at gas stations about not being allowed to hoard goods and increase prices against regulations.
In particular, the unit has publicly posted the hotline phone numbers of the market management force at gas stations so that customers can call to complain if they detect violations of gas stations such as hoarding goods, selling at prices higher than regulations.

We coordinate with functional forces and local authorities to strengthen inspection of gasoline and oil business activities to promptly detect and handle fraud, and also advise people not to buy gasoline and oil for storage, which poses a potential risk of fire and explosion and causes gasoline and oil scarcity and supply disruption," Mr. Khoa shared.
