The 10.57 km long expressway section has 10 bridges
According to the project documents, Package No. 28 will have a implementation period of 39 months, constructing a 10.57 km long expressway through Van Ho district and Moc Chau town of Son La province: Starting point at Km74+500 in Chieng Khoa commune, Van Ho district; ending point at Km85+262.52 (project ending point) in Phieng Luong commune (new Van Son ward), Moc Chau town.
On the main route, there are 2 intersections: Chieng Khoa intersection (Km80+700), intersecting with DT.10, (DTH01 route about Km8+35050), connecting to Van Ho district administrative center, Chieng Khoa commune area and the Intersection with National Highway 43, designed as a three-way intersection.
Along with that, the route has a total of 10 bridges (7 bridges on the main route, 3 cross -bridges, intersections): Chieng Khoa Bridge 3 at km78+047.45, Suoi Tien Bridge at km79+039.08, Chieng Khoa Bridge 4 at Km79+548,00, Van Ho Bridge 1 at Km82+559.20, Van Ho Bridge 2 at Km83+208.60, Van Ho Bridge 3 at Km83+59 Km84+992.00; Km75+825 overpass, Chieng Khoa overpass at Km78+851, Van Ho overpass (Chieng Khoa node) at Km80+723.
Hoa Binh - Moc Chau Expressway section through Son La province is about to start construction
Regarding the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau Expressway project through Son La province, with a total length of about 32.3 km, starting point at km 53 in Chieng Yen commune, Van Ho district and ending point at Km 85+300, intersecting with National Highway 43 in Phieng Luong commune, Moc Chau town.
On May 12, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Hop Cuong - Director of the Management Board of Traffic Construction Investment Projects of Son La province - said that the groundbreaking ceremony of the project will take place on the morning of May 18, 2025, in Van Son ward, Moc Chau town.
