This important event aims to realize the Politburo's policy and the Government's Resolution on building financial centers in Vietnam, including a comprehensive international financial center in Ho Chi Minh City and a regional financial center in Da Nang.
The workshop will be a place to introduce policies, development orientations, potentials and favorable conditions of these financial centers. At the same time, the workshop will attract contributions from state management agencies, investors, financial institutions, investment funds, consulting companies, training institutions and domestic and foreign experts on specific mechanisms and policies for the development of international financial centers.
The event is expected to attract 400-450 delegates, including leaders of the National Assembly, the Government, ministries, sectors, leaders of provinces and cities, diplomatic representatives, international organizations, strategic investors, and media agencies. The conference will take place in person at the Da Nang Administrative Center and online.
The construction of a financial center in Vietnam is considered an institutional breakthrough, helping to free up resources, promote economic growth, and enhance competitiveness. Vietnam has all the conditions to develop a modern financial market: stable GDP growth, deep integration, a developed stock market, and a stable socio-political environment. With a GDP of about 470 billion USD in 2024, Vietnam is making steady progress to become a dynamic economic center.
International and regional financial centers will be home to financial institutions, investment funds, financial services companies, and trading floors. These centers will connect Vietnam to international financial markets, creating new opportunities for economic development and attracting investment.
This conference is not only an opportunity to discuss policies but also a place to connect potential partners, promoting the development of future financial centers. The event will be an important first step in the journey to make Vietnam an attractive financial destination on the world map.
