In the late 1990s, the Vietnamese processed food market was still in its prime, especially in the sausage industry, where almost no domestic enterprises produced according to European standards. In that context, on July 14, 2000, the company was established with the aspiration to bring Vietnamese consumers standard fresh sausage products with German flavors.
From the very beginning, the company has pursued traditional sausage processing technology from Germany, invested in modern machinery imported from Europe, and trained personnel systematically. Strict production process, using high-quality raw materials such as natural intestines and spices imported with oatmeal technology has created a sausage line with a unique flavor - clearly different from popular products on the market at that time.
Not simply a food product, German sausages have soon become a part of the memories of the first generation of consumers - those who first experienced truly standard German fresh sausages in Vietnam.

After a quarter of a century, what makes the Daesang Duc Viet brand not only innovative in its product portfolio but also steadfast in its core quality. More than anyone else, businesses understand that a food product can only be sustainable if the product is truly safe, delicious and maintains stability in quality.
To achieve that, Daesang Duc Viet has continuously invested in expanding the production system. Currently, the company owns two factories in Yen My commune, Hung Yen province. In particular, factory No. 1 specializes in the production of high-end fresh sausages, preserving the traditional recipe from the early days of its establishment. Factory No. 2 focuses on producing a group of convenient products such as sterilized sausages, balls, bags, pork sausages, ... to serve the modern needs of busy consumers.
The factory owns international food safety certificates such as ISO 22000:2018, HACCP and FSSC 22000 , allowing comprehensive quality control from input materials to final products. That is Daesang Duc Viet's commitment to Vietnamese consumers: to bring truly quality, truly safe products.

In 2016, the Company officially became a member of Daesang Korea Group - one of the leading food groups in Asia. This turning point marks a new development stage, helping Daesang Duc Viet elevate governance, expand products, update international technology and target export markets.
After nearly a decade, Daesang Duc Viet has brought to the Vietnamese market more diverse Korean-style convenient frozen foods such as kimchi Jongga, bags, O'food pig's sausage - while still maintaining the soul of the brand: original German sausages.
Steadfastly moving forward - From Vietnam to the region
Not stopping at the domestic market, Daesang Duc Viet is gradually moving towards the export goal. Currently, Kimchi Jongga produced at Daesang Duc Viet factory is being exported to countries in the region such as Thailand and Taiwan. This is a testament to the company's international standard production capacity as well as the correct strategic orientation.
