Dak Lak - The Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks is expected to contribute to investment promotion, remove bottlenecks and accompany businesses.

On September 18, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the Prime Minister's Decision on the establishment of the Management Board of Economic Zones and Dak Lak Industrial Parks.

The Board was established on the basis of merging the Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board, the Provincial Industrial Zones Management Board and the High-Tech Agricultural Zone Management Board.

This is an agency directly under the Provincial People's Committee, performing the function of direct state management of economic zones, industrial parks and high-tech agricultural zones in the province.

At the conference, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee announced the decision to appoint Mr. Huynh Lu Tan, Head of Phu Yen Economic Zone Management Board, to hold the position of Head of Dak Lak Economic Zones and Industrial Parks Management Board; and announced the decision to appoint 8 Deputy Heads of Departments.

Speaking to direct, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Do Huu Huy requested the Committee to urgently stabilize the organization, assign tasks in the direction of clear people, clear tasks, clear responsibilities; and at the same time strengthen solidarity, unity and promote the experience of the team of officials from the previous 3 units.

The Board must ensure a continuous and smooth transition process, not allowing the merger to slow down the progress of handling work and investment projects. Along with that, it is necessary to review slow-progress projects, backlog dossiers, clearly identify the causes, responsibilities and proactively handle them. Issues beyond authority must be promptly reported and proposed to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution.
