According to the resolution, in 2026, Khanh Hoa province aims to strive to achieve a gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth rate of 10-11%; GRDP per capita increases by over 12%.
Total social development investment capital is expected to increase by about 20% compared to 2025. State budget revenue will increase by at least 12%.
The province sets a target for labor productivity growth rate of 9.8%, contributing to improving the quality of growth and competitiveness of the local economy.
Regarding social targets, Khanh Hoa sets a target for the rate of workers with degrees and certificates to reach 33.5%; the urban area unemployment rate to remain below 3%.
The province also strives to reduce the poverty rate according to the multidimensional poverty line in the period 2026 - 2030 from 1 - 1.5%.
In the field of health, the 2026 plan sets out specific targets such as: 12.5 doctors/10,000 people, 37.5 beds/10,000 people, 96.5% of the population participating in health insurance, thereby gradually improving the quality of healthcare for people.
Regarding the environment, Khanh Hoa continues to prioritize sustainable targets. Specifically, the forest cover rate reached 47%; 100% of the population uses hygienic water sources...
To realize the above targets, the 2026 socio-economic development plan of Khanh Hoa province identifies 12 main groups of tasks and solutions.
In which, the focus is on effectively organizing the implementation of policies and resolutions of the Central Government and the Provincial Party Committee. Continue to prioritize promoting economic growth associated with establishing a new growth model, restructuring the economy towards modernity.
The province also focuses on perfecting institutions, improving the effectiveness of law enforcement, promoting cuts and simplifications of administrative procedures, improving the investment and business environment; tightening discipline and order, strengthening prevention and combat of corruption and negativity.
In particular, the province identifies science and technology, innovation and digital transformation as the main driving force for growth, creating a foundation for rapid and sustainable development in the coming years.
According to statistics from Khanh Hoa province, the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in 2025 (at 2010 comparable prices) is estimated to reach more than 100 trillion VND, an increase of 7.11% compared to the same period last year.
