The above information was announced by the People's Committee of Nam Ke commune, Dien Bien province at a conference to introduce the cinnamon essential oil processing factory project invested by Thanh Phuc Dien Bien Company Limited (headquartered in Na Hy commune, Dien Bien province).
Accordingly, the project will be built on an estimated land area of nearly 8.9 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 88 billion VND. Thanh Phuc Dien Bien Company Limited will directly manage, operate and exploit.

The Company representative said that Vietnam is one of the few countries that own a very large area of cinnamon in the world, with cinnamon output ranked third.
According to the Company's representative, with a large source of agricultural and forestry products and medicinal herbs on site, investing in a cinnamon essential oil processing factory in Nam Ke commune, Dien Bien province is very necessary. The project is expected to contribute to enhancing the value of cinnamon trees, creating on-site jobs and promoting sustainable agricultural development for the locality.
According to the reporter's research, the project aims to develop in a professional and modern direction, providing processed and high-quality agricultural, forestry and medicinal products.
The nearly VND88 billion cinnamon essential oil processing factory will produce 80,000 liters of cinnamon essential oil and process 1,875 tons of medicinal herbs per year, in addition to developing raw material nursery areas...

According to Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh - Chairman of Nam Ke Commune People's Committee, the project will contribute to increasing product value, expanding consumption markets, creating more jobs, increasing income, and improving people's lives. This is also a step to concretize the Party and State's policy on agricultural development in the direction of goods, processing and export.
Mr. Thanh added that the project is in the initial stage of implementing investment procedures.
