On March 28, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province held a meeting and dialogue conference with the participation of more than 300 foreign-invested enterprises (FDI) along with foreign business associations and industrial park infrastructure trading companies in Dong Nai province.
According to the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, up to now, the locality has attracted investment from 46 countries and territories with more than 1,700 FDI projects, with a total investment capital of nearly 36 billion USD.
Dong Nai province is planned to have 48 industrial parks by 2030.
At the dialogue, opinions of FDI enterprises focused on proposing to resolve some problems related to value added tax refunds, on-site import-export procedures, environmental sanitation of industrial parks, ensuring traffic safety on routes in industrial parks, etc.
Also at the conference, businesses reported that the road connecting to Long Duc Industrial Park and An Phuoc Industrial Park (Long Thanh District) is degraded and flooded during the rainy season, causing congestion and danger to workers when traveling.
The opinions raised by enterprises at the dialogue were answered by leaders of departments, branches and the People's Committee of Dong Nai province.
Speaking at the dialogue, Mr. Vo Tan Duc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province said that in 2025, together with the whole country, Dong Nai province will continue to promote administrative procedure reform, further improve the quality of human resources and infrastructure, and create a favorable investment environment for businesses.
Dong Nai also wishes to improve investment quality, attract investment projects in the fields of modern technology, supporting industry, semiconductor industry, green technology, environmental friendliness, with the orientation of sustainable development, improving Dong Nai's competitiveness.
Dong Nai will also focus on investing in developing transport infrastructure and industrial parks to meet the production and business needs of enterprises.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province awarded certificates of merit to 5 FDI enterprises with outstanding achievements in production and business activities and many contributions to the locality from 2023-2024.
