On the afternoon of October 13, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Province Nguyen Tan Tuan attended and spoke at the meeting with businessmen and enterprises to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day.

Invite businesses to come and develop together

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan assessed that with the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the participation of the entire political and economic system, the province's economy in the past 3 quarters has developed with a growth rate of 12.45% compared to the previous year and the revenue reached 94% of the annual budget plan.

The province also organized many delegations to promote investment and tourism from countries such as the US, Korea, Japan, Thailand, etc. and signed agreements to implement economic development programs.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan described the investment atmosphere and environment in Khanh Hoa province as very vibrant. The locality determined to invite businesses to Khanh Hoa for mutual development; strategic investors have started after the locality organized the planning well.

“We are fair to all businesses. We are very transparent in calling for and promoting investment. This is the viewpoint that the provincial leaders always direct so that agencies and localities are aware and support how businesses coming to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa must roll out the red carpet to welcome you, but we also ensure a very safe and thick layer of sand.

What I mean is that legal policies must be guaranteed. Only then will investors feel secure in investing..."- Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan shared.

Developing green cities, green economy

According to Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, the locality is currently focusing on building Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa City under the Central Government with the criteria of a "green" city and "green" economy.

Therefore, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan suggested that when evaluating investment project applications, the authorities must ensure that the project is truly "green" and saves a lot of resources to serve that project.

Talking about the circular economy, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan hopes that businesses will make the most of the output of this manufacturing industry as the input of the new manufacturing industry.

“In other words, we have to process, use, reuse, recycle and continue the production process,” Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan shared.

For example, at the North and South ends of Nha Trang City, there are two wastewater treatment plants that meet standards. However, the reality is that the locality has not yet recycled the treated clean water. From this reality, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan suggested that the authorities in Nha Trang City consider and calculate to avoid waste.

Talking about the digital economy, Mr. Tuan said that businesses need to take the technology platform as the main production platform. Khanh Hoa province must promote the development of all these processes.
