In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today decreased by 1,000 VND/kg. Hung Yen area decreased by 2,000 VND/kg to 58,000 VND/kg, equal to the price in Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Ninh Binh. Tuyen Quang alone kept the price unchanged at 59,000 VND/kg, equal to the price in Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Phu Tho. Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Son La have the lowest live pig prices in the region at 57,000 VND/kg.
In the Central region, some provinces also have live pig prices down by VND 1,000/kg. Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Gia Lai decreased by VND 1,000/kg, to VND 55,000/kg. The price of live pigs in Da Nang also decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, to 56,000 VND/kg, equal to the price in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Hue, Quang Ngai. Some other provinces also have live pig prices down 1,000 VND/kg such as Khanh Hoa (to 59,000 VND/kg), Lam Dong (to 61,000 VND/kg).
In the southern region of An Giang, Vinh Long, the price of live pigs decreased by VND 1,000/kg, to VND 61,000/kg. Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Dong Thap, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho provinces have live pig prices at 62,000 VND/kg. Ca Mau has a price of live pigs of 63,000 VND/kg - this is also the highest price in the country.
