Many farmers in Khanh Binh commune, Ca Mau province said that traders are very limited in purchasing HB1 rice. At the same time, the commune also coordinated with units to operate all pumping stations, limit local flooding, and minimize damage.

Mr. Nguyen Van Lanh (Vinh Loi commune) shared: "My rice is about to be harvested in 7 days. Last year, at this time, many traders asked but this year, few people asked, I am very worried. Harvesting right when it rains, the rice is poor in quality, traders will force the price".
