Ca Mau - Many enterprises are preparing to expand production and business after the merger of provinces.

Ca Mau after the merger opens up great opportunities for markets, human resources, and operating space. After the two-level government took operation, businesses here were preparing to expand production and business.

Mr. Le Hoang Phuoc - Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial Business Association - said: After the merger, Ca Mau province has expanded development space, so businesses also expanded their connections with businesses in all communes and wards in the province, united and developed together.

On August 6, Nam Phu Hung enterprise was officially leased land by the People's Committee of Ca Mau province in Hiep Thanh ward to expand production and business in the field of aquaculture. The company director said: Seafood is a sector of Ca Mau province with many advantages, so developing seafood according to the plan will create opportunities for businesses to develop.

In the field of wind power energy, Ca Mau province creates the most favorable conditions for businesses to make investments as registered. Wind power and LNG power projects are also being restarted.

Ca Mau province has strengths in fisheries, agriculture, forestry and fishery, with many specialty products that can develop into OCOP products. However, the current production scale is still small, output is low, and competitiveness is weak. When consumers need to buy in large quantities and stably for a long time, businesses and production facilities cannot meet the demand. Therefore, there needs to be a linkage from production to product consumption. Currently, the province is encouraging business households, cooperatives, cooperative groups, enterprises... to re-line up to form a large-scale production chain to improve product competitiveness.

In the near future, the Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway will be completed, and Ca Mau airport will be upgraded and expanded, not only creating favorable conditions for access to major consumer markets in the North and Central regions, but also facilitating the attraction of investment in the province. The province is also coordinating with the investor to start construction of the Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway...

Ca Mau province determines which conditions the province has met, which conditions are not guaranteed to continue to improve. The province promotes promotional activities, inviting large and potential investors, especially large domestic and foreign enterprises and corporations, to pay attention to the province's projects.

For non-state investment projects that have been approved for investment policies, but are still facing difficulties and obstacles, it is necessary to classify and arrange priority order according to the level of difficulties and obstacles. Proactively coordinate with departments, branches and localities to support investors in resolving the issue, creating favorable conditions for investors to be able to immediately implement the project, contributing to promoting the province's economic development.
