World oil price today
Today's gasoline prices all decreased. At 10:30 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil was at 64.93 USD/barrel, down 0.05 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.08%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 84.98 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 64.79 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 66.75 USD/barrel, down 0.12 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.19%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 66.87 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 66.63 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices recorded unexpected developments in the trading session on June 10. At one point, Brent oil prices increased sharply, nearly reaching the 68 USD/barrel mark, but then both oil products simultaneously turned around and decreased sharply towards the end of the session. At the end of the session, Brent oil decreased by 0.3%, WTI oil decreased by 0.5%. The decline continued in this morning's session (11.6).
According to analysts, the market is waiting for the orientation from the trade negotiation round between the US and China. Investor sentiment remains optimistic after US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick said the negotiations are "really good".
Domestic gasoline prices today
On June 11, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil has been adjusted according to the price of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade jointly announced in the price management session on the afternoon of June 5, 2025. Accordingly, domestic gasoline prices have increased simultaneously. E5 RON 92 gasoline price increased by 67 VND/liter, RON 95-III gasoline increased by 133 VND/liter, diesel price increased by 284 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 176 VND/liter. However, mazut oil prices decreased by 86 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may increase.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 280 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 200 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 290 VND/liter.
