World oil price today
World oil prices today decreased simultaneously. At 10:51, WTI crude oil was at 63.88 USD/barrel, down 0.08 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.13%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 63.96 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 63.89 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 66.78 USD/barrel, down 0.06 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.09%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 66.84 USD/barrel and opened at the same price in today's session.
Thus, world oil prices today turned down after a strong increase in prices in yesterday's session, at the end of the session on August 14, both Brent oil and WTI oil increased by 1.8% and 2.1%, respectively.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On August 15, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on August 14.
Accordingly, gasoline prices have decreased simultaneously. E5RON92 gasoline price decreased by 254 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline decreased by 190 VND/liter, diesel decreased by 723 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 640 VND/liter, mazut decreased by 379 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price management period, retail prices of gasoline may adjust in opposite directions in the direction of increasing gasoline prices and decreasing oil prices.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 150 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 80 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 170 VND/liter.
