According to Lao Dong's research, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team will keep the same list of 14 players participating in the 2025 World Championship as previously registered by Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh, Pham Thi Hien, Nguyen Thi Phuong, Doan Thi Lam Oanh, Nguyen Thi Trinh, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Nguyen Thi Ninh Anh, Vo Thi Kim Thoa, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, Nguyen Khanh Dang, Le Thanh Thuy, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen.
The Vietnam women's volleyball team has been training at Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi) since August 11. On August 20, the team will go to Thailand to participate in the 2025 World Championship. The tournament will be played from August 22 to September 7.
Each team participating in the 2025 World Championship is allowed to register a maximum of 14 players in the official list.
32 teams (including Vietnam) have registered their lists with the Organizing Committee on time. Before the tournament starts, 32 teams will attend a technical meeting to fully grasp the regulations of the Organizing Committee and the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) on organizing the tournament.
The Vietnam women's volleyball team will compete in Phuket (Thailand) in Group G with Poland, Germany and Kenya.
The team will train and play a friendly match with the Spanish and Kenyan teams at Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi) from August 16 to 19.
The last time the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team participated in the FIVB World Cup and had an achievement was at the FIVB Challenge Cup 2024. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team won third place in this tournament.
