Discipline a few people to save millions
On the morning of January 21, continuing the discussion session at the hall on the documents of the 14th National Party Congress, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee (UBKTTW) Tran Van Ron presented a paper with the theme "Innovating inspection and supervision work to contribute to strengthening discipline and order, improving leadership capacity and combat strength of the Party organization, meeting task requirements in the new situation".
Mr. Tran Van Ron said that through the inspection and supervision work during the 13th Party Congress term, the UBKTTW has drawn lessons learned.
Reality has proven that where the Party Committee and especially the head have paid attention to and directly directed and set an example, the inspection work has weight and the "sword of criticism" is truly sharp.
The 13th term has proven the close leadership and direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the General Secretary as the most solid support for the Inspection Committees at all levels to dare to touch dark spots, fortresses that seem inviolable.
Implement synchronization between inspection and supervision according to the motto: "Supervision must be expanded", "inspection must be focused and key". In which, regular supervision is emphasized to remind, warn, and proactively prevent violations from early and remote, not allowing small violations to accumulate into large violations.

Disciplinary handling must be strict, but it must be in the spirit of humanity, "treating diseases to save people", disciplining a few people to save millions of people. Through inspection, not only pointing out violations but also identifying loopholes and inadequacies in mechanisms to propose amendments to improve the institution. Coordination must be synchronous, rhythmic, "one-on-one, horizontally and vertically smooth".
The XIII term marked a close coordination between the Party's inspection and supervision and inspection, audit and law enforcement agencies. Strictly implementing the principle of inspection and supervision and discipline of the Party ahead, creating a premise for administrative discipline and law enforcement.
Shift focus to "data-based inspection and supervision
Standing Deputy Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Tran Van Ron said that entering the 14th National Congress term, inspection and supervision work needs to strongly innovate thinking, methods, and organizational methods, must be the main leadership method, and an important tool to maintain the Party's discipline and order;
Linking inspection and supervision with power control; quickly and strongly shifting the focus from "consideration and handling" to "prevention and warning from early, remote, right from the grassroots level" to ensure "going in the right direction - doing it in the right way - achieving substantive effectiveness" of the Party's major guidelines and policies; not letting "battlerooms", "dark areas" where the Party's inspection and supervision work cannot reach.
The inspection and supervision work in the next term needs to be fully and correctly aware and focused to implement drastically and synchronously a number of key tasks.
Mr. Tran Van Ron mentioned the development and improvement of regulations on preventing and combating corruption and negative waste associated with the mechanism of controlling the Party's power and discipline, administrative discipline, and handling by law associated with the development and improvement of mechanisms and policies for cadres, civil servants, and public employees so that cadres and party members "cannot be corrupt", "do not dare to be corrupt" and "do not need to be corrupt". And there is a mechanism to protect and encourage cadres and party members to dare to think, dare to do, be bold, and take the lead in innovation for the cause of development.
The conclusion and handling of violations needs to be placed in specific historical conditions and contexts to have an objective, correct and appropriate handling viewpoint. Party committees and inspection committees at all levels need to further improve the quality and effectiveness to create new progress in inspection and supervision and discipline enforcement of the Party...
Implement comprehensive digital transformation in the activities of the Party inspection sector, shifting focus to "data-based inspection and supervision".
Focus on studying policies and mechanisms to detect early, proactively prevent and prevent violations from occurring. Continue to consolidate the Inspection Committee and the organizational structure of inspection committees at all levels must be appropriate and meet the assigned task requirements.
