World oil price today
At the end of a trading week, WTI crude oil was at 72.98 USD/barrel last weekend, increasing to 73.84 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, WTI crude oil increased by 0.86 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.18% compared to last week.
Brent oil was at 74.23 USD/barrel last weekend, increasing to 77.01 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, Brent oil increased by 2.78 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 3.75% compared to last week.
According to analysts, world oil prices are strongly disrupted by tensions between Israel and Iran. Israel and Iran continue airstrikes to escalate the conflict, affecting oil infrastructure.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On June 22, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil has been adjusted according to the price of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade jointly announced in the price management session on the afternoon of June 19, 2025. Accordingly, domestic gasoline prices increased simultaneously.
E5 RON 92 gasoline price increased by VND 1,170/liter; RON 95 gasoline increased by VND 1,280/liter; diesel increased by VND 1,450/liter; kerosene increased by VND 1,410/liter; mazut increased by VND 1,180/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the upcoming price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may continue to increase sharply.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 700-900 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 600-800 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 1,400-1,600 VND/liter.
