World oil price today
World oil prices suddenly increased sharply. At the end of yesterday's trading session (October 22), WTI and Brent oil prices increased by 4.23% and 3.98%, respectively.
By this morning's session, world oil prices continued to increase strongly, at 12:39, WTI crude oil prices were at 60.59 USD/barrel, up 2.09 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 3.57%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 58.50 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 59.97 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 64.84 USD/barrel, up 2.25 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 3.59%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 62.59 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 63.49 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices are on a strong recovery after a series of consecutive sharp declines.
According to analysts, US crude oil and distillate reserves are still relatively low, thereby helping to reduce pressure on oil prices. Based factors in the market still show that supply is not as redundant as initially concerned.
Notably, investors have reacted to tensions between the US and Russia, raising concerns about the risk of global supply disruption.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On October 23, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:

The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on October 16.
Accordingly, gasoline and oil prices will increase or decrease depending on each item. Specifically, E5RON92 gasoline price increased by 88 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 174 VND/liter, diesel decreased by 181 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 28 VND/liter, mazut decreased by 437 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may decrease.
Of which, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 170 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 170 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 530 VND/liter.
