World oil prices today
World oil prices continue to record notable fluctuations. At the end of the trading session on September 22, Brent oil price stopped at 99.25 USD/barrel, down 1.09 USD, equivalent to 1.09%. WTI oil price closed at 90.52 USD/barrel, down 1.95 USD, equivalent to 2.1%.
During the session, the prices of the two oils at one point fell very sharply after US President Donald Trump said that a peace agreement with Iran could only be reached after the US midterm election, expected to take place in early November. However, the subsequent decline somewhat narrowed.
This week, President Donald Trump is scheduled to meet with leaders of several countries on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. These contacts increase expectations of a possible cooldown of tensions in the Middle East, while diplomatic efforts related to the conflict in Ukraine continue to be noticed.
In addition, investors expect oil transportation through the Strait of Hormuz to gradually improve.
On Iran's side, it said it could reopen the Strait of Hormuz within 7 days if the US reduces military pressure and lifts the blockade of Iranian ports. The Iranian delegation attending the discussion session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York was also granted full authority to resume diplomatic talks with the US.

Domestic gasoline and oil price forecast for the next period
According to a representative of a gasoline and oil business, it is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, retail gasoline and oil prices may have opposite fluctuations in the direction of gasoline prices slightly increasing and oil prices decreasing.
In which:
- E10 gasoline increases by about 300 VND/liter
- E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increased by about 100 VND/liter;
- Diesel oil decreased by about 1,400 VND/liter.
