World oil price today
World oil prices today reversed and increased sharply. At 10:53 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil was at 65.23 USD/barrel, up 0.86 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.34%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 64.37 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 65.24 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 66.96 USD/barrel, up 0.79 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.19%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 66.17 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 66.82 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices suddenly reversed and increased after a sharp decline in the previous session. At the end of yesterday's trading session (September 24), Brent and WTI oil decreased by 6.1% and 6%, respectively, to the lowest level in the past 2 weeks. By this morning's session, world oil prices reversed and increased sharply.
According to analysts, the ceasefire between Israel and Iran has somewhat eased concerns about the risk of disruption of oil supplies from the Middle East - which accounts for the majority of global exports. This development contributes to cooling world oil prices. However, just hours after the deal was announced, US President Donald Trump accused both sides of violating commitments, causing investors to worry that the deal could collapse at any time.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On June 25, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:

The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil has been adjusted according to the price of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade jointly announced in the price management session on the afternoon of June 19, 2025. Accordingly, domestic gasoline prices increased simultaneously.
E5 RON 92 gasoline price increased by VND 1,170/liter; RON 95 gasoline increased by VND 1,280/liter; diesel increased by VND 1,450/liter; kerosene increased by VND 1,410/liter; mazut increased by VND 1,180/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the upcoming price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may continue to increase.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 300-400 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 300-400 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 500-600 VND/liter.
