World oil price today
Today's gasoline prices increased simultaneously. At 10:22 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil was at 62.50 USD/barrel, up 1.71 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 2.81%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 60.79 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 61.57 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 64.25 USD/barrel, up 1.47 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 2.34%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 62.78 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 63.54 USD/barrel.
World oil prices rebounded in the first session of the week, after experiencing a sharp decline in the week. However, analysts say this recovery will be difficult to maintain for a long time as the oil market still faces a lot of pressure.
Global supply tends to increase while consumption demand has not really improved, causing the oil price outlook to lack sustainable lifting force. Although both Brent and WTI oil both increased in the first session of the week, experts said that the downward trend will still prevail in the short term, reflecting prolonged instability in the energy market.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On June 2, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil has been adjusted according to the price of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade jointly announced in the price management session on the afternoon of May 29, 2025. Accordingly, petroleum products have adjusted in opposite directions with slight increases in gasoline prices and decreases in oil prices.
E5 RON 92 gasoline price increased by 74 VND/liter, RON 95-III gasoline increased by 33 VND/liter, diesel price decreased by 269 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 206 VND/liter and mazut oil decreased by 248 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may have opposite adjustments.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 70 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline decreases by about 80 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 100 VND/liter.
