World oil prices today
World oil prices on November 29 (Vietnam time) decreased simultaneously. At 12:29 pm, WTI crude oil was at 69.14 USD/barrel, up 0.26 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.38%. WTI crude oil closed yesterday's trading session at 68.88 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 68.88 USD/barrel.
Brent crude oil was at $72.85 a barrel, up $0.07 a barrel, or 0.10 percent. Brent crude oil closed the previous session at $72.78 a barrel and opened today at $72.44 a barrel.
Thus, the world oil price continued to increase today after closing the trading session yesterday with a slight increase. Accordingly, at the end of the session on November 28, Brent oil price increased by 0.5%; WTI oil price increased by 0.2%.
World oil prices rose slightly after Israel and Lebanon's Hezbollah armed group accused each other of violating the ceasefire and the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies (OPEC+) postponed a meeting scheduled for December 1, analysts said.
On November 28, the Israeli Air Force attacked a facility used by Hezbollah to store medium-range missiles in southern Lebanon. According to the statement, Israel identified a number of suspicious activities and was forced to violate the conditions of the ceasefire agreement.
The Middle East is one of the world's largest oil-producing regions. While the ongoing conflict has so far not affected supplies, it remains a high-risk area for traders.

The above domestic retail prices of gasoline and oil were adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of November 28. Accordingly, all gasoline and oil products increased. The price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by 497 VND/liter; RON 95-III gasoline increased by 329 VND/liter; diesel increased by 268 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 221 VND/liter; and fuel oil increased by 111 VND/kg.

MIPEC gasoline discount on November 29: RON 95 - III discount: 1,000 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,000 VND/liter; oil: 1,400 VND/liter. Applicable to the Northern region.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices next period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, petroleum prices may decrease. The decrease is about 200-400 VND/liter.
Since the beginning of the year, since the price adjustment session on January 4, gasoline prices have increased 22 times and decreased 25 times. Oil prices have increased 21 times and decreased 26 times.
