World oil prices today
World oil prices on November 27 (Vietnam time) dropped to a low. At 11:23, WTI crude oil was at 68.77 USD/barrel, maintaining a low level, around the previous session's closing price. WTI crude oil closed yesterday's trading session at 68.77 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 68.86 USD/barrel.
Brent crude oil was at $72.31 a barrel, down $0.01 a barrel, or 0.01 percent. Brent crude oil closed the previous session at $72.32 a barrel and opened today at $72.49 a barrel.
Thus, the world oil price today remained low, around the closing price of yesterday. In yesterday's trading session (November 26), oil prices increased slightly at the beginning of the session, then turned down sharply at the end of the session. At the end of yesterday's trading session, Brent and WTI oil prices decreased by 0.27% and 0.25%, respectively.
According to Reuters, Israel's security cabinet has agreed on a ceasefire agreement. The agreement is expected to take effect today, November 27. Analysts say the ceasefire could put pressure on crude oil prices, as the US administration is likely to ease sanctions on Iranian oil.
Meanwhile, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies (OPEC+) are still discussing the continued postponement of the plan to increase oil production, expected to start in January 2025, ahead of a meeting on December 1 to decide on policy for the first months of next year.
Regarding US inventory data, last week, US crude oil inventories fell by 5.935 million barrels, while gasoline inventories rose by 1.814 million barrels and distillate inventories rose by 2.543 million barrels.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On November 27, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities currently applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail prices of gasoline and oil were adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of November 21. Accordingly, most gasoline and oil products decreased simultaneously. The price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased the most, by 109 VND/liter. RON 95-III gasoline decreased by 79 VND/liter, diesel oil decreased by 64 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 67 VND/liter. Only fuel oil increased by 5 VND/kg.

Discount prices of petroleum products today, November 27, at some domestic petroleum dealers are as follows:
PVOIL discounts on November 27 as follows: Diesel discount (0.005S-V): 1,250 VND/liter; Diesel discount (0.001S-V): 1,200; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,050 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,050 VND/liter. Applicable at PVOIL Dinh Vu warehouse, Petec An Hai, Cai Lan.
Tu Luc Petroleum discounts on November 27 as follows: Diesel discount (0.005S-V): 1,200 VND/liter; Diesel discount (0.001S-V): 1,150; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,000 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,000 VND/liter.
MIPEC gasoline discount on November 27: RON 95 - III discount: 700 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 700 VND/liter; oil: 1,200 VND/liter. Applicable to the Northern region.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices next period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, petroleum prices may increase.
The increase is expected to be around 300-500 VND/liter. Of which, E5 RON 92 gasoline is expected to increase by 500 VND/liter; Ron 95 gasoline is expected to increase by 340 VND/liter; DO oil is expected to increase by 310 VND/liter.
Since the beginning of the year, since the price adjustment session on January 4, gasoline prices have increased 21 times and decreased 25 times. Oil prices have increased 20 times and decreased 26 times.
