According to analysts, investors are expecting the possibility that a ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran will be completed soon. The market believes that the process of reaching an agreement between the parties will take place relatively smoothly and quickly.
In addition, the fact that some Iranian military leaders assess the possibility of a re-ignition of hostilities as low also contributes to strengthening market confidence in the prospect of reaching a peace agreement in the near future. Maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is also gradually being restored, increasing expectations that the world's vital energy transport route will soon reopen completely.
According to analysts, the above signals show that the risk of widespread conflict in the Middle East is showing signs of cooling down, thereby reducing concerns about the risk of disruption of global oil supply in the short term.
Experts also expect that if the US reaches an agreement with Iran and Tehran abandons its nuclear program, geopolitical risks in the Middle East will be significantly reduced. At that time, the "risk premium" that has pushed oil prices up sharply in the past time may gradually be removed from the market.
