World oil price today
World oil prices today decreased simultaneously after the previous strong increase. At the end of yesterday's trading session (December 4), WTI oil and Brent oil increased by 1.22% and 0.94%, respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil products had turned to decrease. At 11:05 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil price was at 69.50, USD/barrel, down 0.17 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase and decrease of 0.28%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 69.67 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 69.65 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 63.14 USD/barrel, down 0.12 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.19%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 63.26 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 63.33 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On December 5, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on December 4.
Accordingly, gasoline prices increased by 400-500 VND/liter; oil prices decreased by 52-580 VND/liter. E5RON92 gasoline price increased by 534 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 451 VND/liter, diesel decreased by 420 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 580 VND/liter and mazut decreased by 52 VND/kg.

The discount levels of gasoline products today, December 5, at some domestic gasoline trading enterprises are as follows:

+ Hai Linh warehouse, Hai Phong: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,050 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,200 VND/liter.
+ Bac Ninh warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 900 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,050 VND/liter.
+ Nghi Son warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,100 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,200 VND/liter.
- Tu Luc Petroleum Joint Stock Company 1:
+ Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,050 VND/liter;
+ Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,000 VND/liter;
+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,100 VND/liter;
+ E5 gasoline: 1,100 VND/liter.
- MIPEC Petro Petroleum Trading Company Limited (applicable to the Northern region):
+ RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,200 VND/liter.
+ Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,000 VND/liter.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may decrease.
