World oil prices today
World gasoline and oil commodities have just recorded a strong price increase session. At the end of the weekend trading session, WTI oil price was at 90.90 USD/barrel, up 9.89 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 12.21%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at a price of 81.01 USD/barrel; and opened the weekend session at a price of 79.41 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 93.04 USD/barrel, up 7.63 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 8.93%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 85.41 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at 84.01 USD/barrel.
This is the highest price since August 2022, when the oil market suffered a supply shock after the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On March 7, retail gasoline and oil prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in region 1 and region 2 are as follows:

The above domestic retail gasoline and oil prices are adjusted by the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance from 3:00 PM on March 5, 2025.
Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline increased by 1,926 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline increased by 2,189 VND/liter; diesel oil increased by 3-758 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 7,132 VND/liter; mazut oil increased by 1,807 VND/kg.
Gasoline and oil discount today
Since the most recent price adjustment period of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance on March 5, many business units no longer update the discount rates for gasoline and oil products.

According to a representative of a gasoline and oil business, domestic gasoline and oil prices will fluctuate according to the world gasoline and oil situation. According to current market developments, it is predicted that in the next price adjustment period, retail gasoline and oil prices may continue to increase sharply.
