World oil prices today
World oil prices are on a strong upward trend. At 11:19 am (Vietnam time), WTI oil price was at 116.23 USD/barrel, up 25.33 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 27.87%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at a price of 90.90 USD/barrel; and opened the weekend session at a price of 101.10 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 116.70 USD/barrel, up 24.01 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 25.90%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at a price of 92.69 USD/barrel; and opened today's session at a price of 101.69 USD/barrel.
This is the highest price since August 2022, when the oil market suffered a supply shock after the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Domestic gasoline prices today
March 9, retail gasoline and oil prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in region 1 and region 2 are as follows:

The above-mentioned domestic retail gasoline and oil prices will be adjusted by the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance from 3:00 PM on March 7, 2025.
Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline increased by 3,777 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline increased by 4,707 VND/liter; diesel oil increased by 7,207 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 8,490 VND/liter; mazut oil increased by 3,831 VND/kg.

Since the price management period of the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance on March 5, many business lines no longer update the discount rates for gasoline and oil items.
