"Ca Mau Crab Festival is not only an occasion to honor the province's typical products, but also demonstrates the local vision of sustainable development and international integration. Through that, affirming the brand, spreading the value and enhancing the position of Ca Mau crab, the pride of the land in the far South of the Fatherland", Mr. Su emphasized.

According to the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, Ca Mau crab has a brand and geographical indications. However, developing a brand and promoting it to make consumers accept it is not simple. Currently, Ca Mau is promoting research on breeding varieties for Ca Mau crabs while linking the chain of the crabs industry to create more developed Ca Mau crabs.
According to information announced at the press conference, Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2nd time, with the theme "Ca Mau Crab: Forest Fragrance - Seafood", will officially take place from November 16 to November 22, 2025. Key activities will be concentrated in 3 days, from November 16 to November 18, 2025.
The highlight of the Festival is the large-scale exhibition, commercial and culinary space. The most prominent is the crab industry, OCOP products and startup exhibition area with 312 booths, along with the General Trade Fair gathering 224 booths.
In particular, the Ca Mau crab cuisine space with 20 booths will organize promotions and processing of crab dishes every night (from November 17 to November 21), promising to bring a rich experience to visitors; the contest "Setting a record" for Ca Mau crab.
In parallel with the Crab Festival, the Marathon - Ca Mau 2025 will officially take place on November 15 and 16. This is an open provincial-level race, attracting professional and amateur athletes from both domestic and international living in Vietnam, with an expected number of up to 6,000 people.

The international workshop "Innovation for sustainable development of Ca Mau Sea Crab industry - Vietnam", took place on the morning of November 18, with the participation of domestic and foreign experts such as: Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines...
In particular, to expand promotion, Ca Mau will coordinate with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to organize the event "Hello Ca Mau" from November 18 to November 22 in Ho Chi Minh City. The event includes an investment promotion conference at Rex Hotel and the Ca Mau Crab Food Festival (100 booths) at the Youth Culture House.
