Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Chinh - a person living right on Trang Tien street said that the address at 35 Trang Tien is not only a place to eat ice cream but also associated with games, very simple memories of childhood.
Ms. Chinh recalled her childhood days, after eating ice cream, wooden ice cream sticks were also kept to make calculation sticks. Those seemingly small objects became part of memories that many years later still made her feel nostalgic when recalling them.
For me, this place was associated with my childhood, in addition to eating ice cream, I also picked up ice cream sticks to make calculators, played volleyball," Ms. Chinh recounted.
For her, 35 Trang Tien is not simply an address in the middle of Hanoi's city center.
This is officially the yard of my village. The flavor of my hometown, carrying many memories. The first feeling when hearing the address will temporarily stop welcoming guests is very regretful. I hope that when switching to the new address, the brand will still retain the flavor of Trang Tien ice cream, the traditional features like the old location," Ms. Chinh shared.
And Ms. Tran Thi Linh (73 years old, Hanoi) recalled the first times her parents took her to number 35 Trang Tien.
Back then, when I was 10-12 years old, my parents took me to 35 Trang Tien to eat ice cream. After that, building a family, when I had children, I also took my children to this location. And most recently, about 3 months ago, I was able to travel again," Ms. Linh said.
In the past 2 months, Ms. Linh has returned to 35 Trang Tien 3 times. This time, she had no intention, but when she heard the announcement about the familiar address about to change, she told her children to bring her up.
This time I try to ask my children to bring it up to look back at the old scenery of my childhood," Ms. Linh expressed.
Standing in the middle of the crowd still waiting to buy ice cream, memories of a Hanoi from many years ago seem to return in the story of the 73-year-old woman.
It's a bit regrettable, regrettable because this is a familiar address for Hanoi people," Ms. Linh said.

Returning to Hanoi after 10 years, Mr. Lam Dai Huynh (Hue City) still remembers the flavor of Trang Tien ice cream.
This is the second time I have had the opportunity to come to Hanoi Capital. When queuing, I heard the announcement that from September 15th, the address 35 Trang Tien will no longer be operating. Later, when I came here, to Trang Tien street, Trang Tien ice cream shop was no longer here, which was quite regrettable," Mr. Huynh said.
For Mr. Huynh, every time he goes to Hanoi, after walking around Hoan Kiem Lake, he stops at 35 Trang Tien to enjoy an ice cream.
There is something very attractive, very traditional. Exactly, childhood, mentioning ice cream brings back memories. Perhaps this is also the last time I have stood in line and enjoyed ice cream sticks in this position," Mr. Huynh said emotionally.
Each person has a different age, a different story and a different memory, but when mentioning number 35 Trang Tien, those stories meet each other in a familiar and regretful feeling.
On social networking platforms to directly placed signs, Trang Tien Ice Cream issued an official notice about stopping to pick up customers at 35 Trang Tien, Cua Nam ward, Hanoi, from September 15.
The business said that saying goodbye to a familiar address is just a transfer station for Trang Tien Ice Cream to write a new, more brilliant chapter.
This change marks an important turning point, aiming to constantly enhance the experience and bring a more modern and complete ice cream enjoyment space to diners.
