These days, on National Highway 26 (Dak Lak), the image of hundreds of container trucks waiting to receive goods has become familiar.
Bustling atmosphere covers the entire area as means of transport are constantly moving, signaling that the durian harvest season is approaching.
The trucks packed with sweetly fragrant fruits not only make the road more crowded but also bring hope for a successful crop for farmers here.

Mr. Le Duc Ha - owner of Ha Nu durian farm in Krong Pac commune - said that he is busy preparing for the harvest.
Immediately after being harvested, durian will be transported to the warehouse to ensure quality. Here, workers peel and store in cold storage, keeping the fruit fresh and delicious and meeting export standards.
According to Mr. Ha, during the peak of the season, the plant can export up to 2 containers per day - a large output, reflecting the vitality and economic potential of the durian region. However, it is not always favorable; there are times when there are low prices, he has to wait up to 10 days to get enough goods for a trip.

Ms. Tran Thi Yen Thu - Director of Hong Sang Fruit Company Limited - shared that the company has started exporting durian to China, although it is not yet the peak of the harvest season.
"Every day, the company exports about 2 durian container trucks. During the main crop, this number will quickly increase to 4-5 container trucks per day" - Ms. Thu added.

Mr. Tran Quoc Vinh - Secretary of the Party Committee of Krong Pac commune - said that National Highway 26 is in the process of being repaired and expanded. However, with the durian harvest season approaching and the project still unfinished, the commune has sent a document to the Road Management Office III requesting to speed up the construction progress.
Upgrading infrastructure not only creates conditions for businesses to purchase agricultural products but also reduces traffic congestion, Mr. Vinh emphasized.

Mr. Le Anh Trung - Chairman of the Dak Lak Durian Association - said that the locality is in the harvest season. The bustling number of container trucks entering the durian region is a good sign for a vibrant crop.
