On August 29, in Thang Truong commune, Da Nang city, the groundbreaking ceremony for the factory for lease, wastewater treatment plant and technical infrastructure of Phase 2 of the Project to invest in construction and business of infrastructure of Sub-zone B - Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park (IP) took place.
Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park - Sub-zone B project has a scale of about 346ha, located in Thang Dien and Thang Truong communes, belonging to Chu Lai Open Economic Zone, with a total registered investment capital of 4,043 billion VND.
In this phase, the investor simultaneously implemented 3 items with a total capital of 1,098 billion VND.
In which, the factory area for lease is about 18ha wide, with an investment capital of 670 billion VND; wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 4,200m3/day and night, with a capital of 160 billion VND; phase 2 technical infrastructure is about 29.5ha wide, with an investment capital of 268 billion VND.
According to the investor, nearly 9 months after the commencement of Phase 1 in December 2025, the technical infrastructure framework of the project has been basically deployed, and the site is continuing to be completed to welcome secondary investors.
Mr. Hoang Long - Deputy General Director of BIN Corporation - said that the enterprise sets a target from the beginning of 2027, the first factories applying modern technology will go into operation in Sub-zone B - Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Da Nang City leaders requested the investor to focus resources, accelerate progress, ensure project quality, labor safety and environmental protection; and prioritize attracting secondary investors with modern technology, high investment rates and low emissions.
The city also requested departments, branches and the Management Board of Chu Lai Open Economic Zone to continue to remove difficulties, shorten the processing time of procedures, and at the same time complete connecting infrastructure for electricity, water, telecommunications and transportation to serve the operation of the industrial park.
Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park - Sub-zone B is oriented to develop according to the green, smart industrial park model, applying technology in management, operation and environmental control; thereby expanding industrial land fund and creating more room to attract investment for the southern area of Da Nang City.
