On the morning of March 29, 54 customers came to the branch of Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company (Phuc Son Group) in Nha Trang to work on contributing investment capital to the Nha Trang urban - service - financial - tourism center project (part of the old Nha Trang Airport area).
Most of the customers who buy subdivided land for sale at the old Nha Trang Airport have paid 95% for about 100 million VND/m2 since 2017 and have not yet received the land.
Customers requested Phuc Son Group to commit to the project implementation progress.
In addition, enterprises must be responsible for supporting and accompanying secondary investors; handing over land early, and completing 3 BT (build - transfer) projects in Nha Trang City.
At the meeting, a representative of Phuc Son Group said that there will be a written response to investors in the coming time regarding the progress at the Nha Trang urban - service - financial - tourism center project; the progress to overcome the problems in the project that the Central agencies have pointed out.

This is also the first time that the leader of Phuc Son Group has appeared in Nha Trang after the branch of this enterprise closed since mid-2024.
Appearing in front of customers, Mr. Hoang Quang Hung - Deputy General Director of Phuc Son Group added that because he had just received the task, he did not have a firm grasp of the issue of projects in Nha Trang. In response to the customer's request, Mr. Hung said that there would be a specific response document.
Regarding the projects being implemented in Nha Trang, Mr. Hoang Quang Hung expressed his opinion that when the state has announcements and conclusions on taxes, transfer conditions, and handover of land for BT projects, investors will complete the work within 6 months.
It is known that Phuc Son Group has allocated 1,112 lots with an area of 9.2 ha/24.08 ha at the urban area project at the old Nha Trang Airport; 958 lots have cooperated with investors, the rest are 154 lots.
The total amount that customers have paid to date is 7,000 billion VND, the remaining 3,000 billion VND has not been paid. For the remaining 154 plots of land, this enterprise believes that the value is equivalent to about VND18,000 billion (equivalent to VND500 million/m2).
Must wait for the court's verdict
In early 2025, Khanh Hoa province reviewed a number of projects in the area, including BT projects of Phuc Son Group at the old Nha Trang Airport.
In the report, Khanh Hoa province assessed that the 3 BT projects of Phuc Son Group at Nha Trang airport will be prolonged and must wait for handling according to the conclusion of the investigation agency and the court's verdict.
The common problem lies in the land fund used to recover capital for the BT project in the old Nha Trang airport area.
The handling viewpoint of Khanh Hoa province is to recommend that the Prime Minister give instructions to the Ministry of National Defense to urgently organize the handover of the National Defense land area ( Regarding site clearance for the BT project) used by units under its management in the locality.
This is to speed up the project implementation progress, ensuring the project's investment efficiency.
At the same time, unify zoning plans and detailed plans to serve as a basis for determining land prices and managing this airport land fund.
