Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document directing the implementation of Resolution No. 51 of the Provincial Party Committee on the implementation of the plan to implement the Khanh Hoa Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, sectors, units and localities to advise on the implementation of assigned tasks; monitor and urge the implementation of solutions according to sectors, fields and areas under its management; ensure effective implementation of the Provincial Planning.
Resolution No. 51-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee clearly defines the goals and solutions to effectively implement the Khanh Hoa Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
In terms of economy, the province sets a target of average GRDP growth in the period of 2021 - 2030 at 9.86%/year, and in the period of 2026 - 2030 at 11% - 11.5%. By 2030, the average GRDP per capita will reach 210 million VND/person; the total state budget revenue in the 2026 - 2030 period will reach 172,400 billion VND, an average increase of 12%/year.
Export turnover of goods reached 3 billion USD, urbanization rate reached 70%, digital economy accounted for at least 30% of GRDP. General factor productivity (TFP) contributes over 55% to growth; at the same time, the province will develop and put into operation smart cities in qualified localities.
In society, strive to reduce the multidimensional poverty rate by 1 - 1.5%/year; trained workers reach 90%, of which 40% have degrees and certificates; the rate of non-agricultural workers in urban areas will reach 90% by 2030. Average life expectancy reaches 75 years old, healthy living time reaches 68 years old; 98% of the population participates in health insurance; reaches 40 hospital beds/10,000 people, 14 doctors/10,000 people.
Regarding the environment, maintain the forest coverage rate at 46.5%; 100% of rural people use combined sanitary water (of which 85% use clean water); the rate of urban people receiving clean water through the centralized system is 100%. Huge waste and household waste are collected and treated at 100%, reducing urban landfill to less than 10%.
By 2050, Khanh Hoa strives to become a major marine economic center of the country, a smart, environmentally friendly city, with identity, on par with the Asian region and a leading coastal city in the region. The digital economy accounts for at least 50% of GRDP; manufacturing and service industries develop in a smart direction, based on the green economic model, circular economy.
