According to the directive, the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities must promote the role of management agencies, localities and communities in protecting and promoting the value of relics. The inventory and classification of new relics must be carried out closely and synchronously with programs for restoration, embellishment and introduction of heritage values.
The province emphasizes the disclosure and transparency of information about projects to restore and renovate relics, especially relics associated with spiritual and belief elements, so that people clearly understand, participate in contributing opinions, and create consensus in society. The Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism is assigned to preside over and coordinate with press and media agencies in the area to promote propaganda and dissemination of the Law on Cultural Heritage and related documents; at the same time, advise on the implementation of the Law on Cultural Heritage.
According to statistics, Khanh Hoa currently has 182 provincial-level relics, including 60 historical relics, 119 architectural and artistic relics, 1 archaeological relic and 2 scenic spots. In addition, the locality also has 16 relics ranked at the national level. In 2024 alone, there were more than 2.7 million visitors visiting relics across Khanh Hoa province.
