This is the fourth automobile factory of Thanh Cong Group, and the first Skoda automobile factory in Southeast Asia, affirming its position as well as marking an important milestone in the development strategy of Thanh Cong Group as well as the Vietnamese automobile industry.

At this ceremony, the first model, Skoda Kushaq, was officially launched, ready to enter commercial production and supply to the market in the second quarter of 2025. This is the next big result in the cooperative relationship between TC Motor - a member unit of Thanh Cong Group and Skoda Auto.
Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory is a central project at the Viet Hung Industrial Park Automobile and Supporting Complex, invested by TC Group.
The factory started construction in early 2023. After 22 months of implementation, in March 2025, the factory was officially completed and put into operation for automobile production and assembly, with a series of equipment invested in the production and assembly of Skoda automobiles - the oldest automobile brand in the Czech Republic.
Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory has a total area of 36.5 hectares; capacity of 120,000 vehicles/year. At 3 welding, painting and assembly workshops, the factory's equipment line is invested in modernity, high level of automation, in accordance with international standards and of Skoda Auto global. The smart robot system is integrated in every stage at each workshop, helping to optimize accuracy, improve performance and ensure product quality at the highest level, providing the market with high-quality, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly vehicles. The factory is also designed as a safe, civilized, friendly workplace and for the health of workers.
The factory's test road area is designed with a length of 1.5km, meeting the standards according to Decree 116/2017/ND-CP of the Government, truly recreating complex road conditions such as paved roads, gravel roads, rough roads, rough roads, flooded roads, steep roads, curves, slippery roads, flat roads; allowing each vehicle to be carefully inspected for quality and performance before officially reaching consumers.
The first two products of the Skoda brand assembled at the factory are Skoda Kushaq and Skoda Slavia.
According to Thanh Cong Group, Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile and Supporting Industry Complex has an area of over 300 hectares, oriented to expand over 400 hectares, and is oriented by the Group to become a place to focus on attracting automobile and supporting industry projects using modern, smart, and environmentally friendly technology.
With this orientation, the Complex is currently being systematically planned into areas with a long-term vision: automobile manufacturing and assembly plants; port areas; warehouses; localized extrusion, welding and components factories; battery and engine factories, R & D areas; auxiliary areas; service areas... to increase the localization rate, ensure development according to the general orientation of the Government and realize the vision of a large-scale, modern automobile industrial complex of Quang Ninh and Vietnam, which is the destination of many partner brands in the world automobile industry.
In addition to investing in completing the central project of Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory, in recent times, Thanh Cong Group has also completed investment in important items of the Complex, such as: Logistics warehouse; Testing track; General Station; Harm waste treatment plant; Wastewater treatment plant; LPG station; Distribution transformer station; Fuel supply station... infrastructure ready when the factories come into operation.
