Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory of Thanh Cong Group, built on an area of 36.5 hectares, located in the Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile and Supporting Industry Complex, has a total scale of 400 hectares, with a total capital of VND 8,679 billion in Viet Hung Industrial Park.
Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory has a capacity of 120,000 vehicles/year, with modern equipment lines, high level of automation, in accordance with international standards.
In the initial phase of operation, the factory will assemble SUV and B-class sedan segments suitable for the current tastes and consumption trends of Vietnamese people. In the next phase, the factory will expand to environmentally friendly electric vehicles.
In the immediate future, the factory will produce and assemble the first car of the Skoda brand, Czech Republic in Vietnam.
Quang Ninh province has identified the Thanh Cong Viet Hung automobile factory project as one of the province's main growth drivers in 2025, and is especially expected to add new capacity to the processing and manufacturing industry of Quang Ninh province in the future.
In the coming time, Thanh Cong Group will continue to invest in Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Manufacturing Factory Phase 2, including the construction of a stamping, welding and winding factory and Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Support Factory, making Quang Ninh one of the major automobile manufacturing centers of the country.
The products of Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory will not only be a source of supply for the current core automobile production and business activities of Thanh Cong Group, but also aim for export; contributing to promoting the Vietnamese automobile support industry to reach regional and world markets.
It is known that to attract and retain high-quality human resources for the automobile complex of Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory, in addition to a number of other preferential policies, Thanh Cong Group also plans to upgrade Ha Long Pearl Hotel located right on Ha Long Bay, Bai Chay Ward, both as a place to accommodate this group of personnel and providing Ha Long tourism industry with high-quality resort hotel products.
