Coordination is increasingly active and effective.
At the conference to review the implementation of the Coordination Regulations for the 2013-2023 period and sign the Coordination Regulations for the new period between the State Audit Office and the Standing Committees of the People's Councils and People's Committees of Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh and Thai Binh provinces, State Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan assessed that after more than 10 years of implementing the Coordination Regulations, the close and effective coordination between the State Audit Office and the provinces and cities has been put into practice, promoting work efficiency, helping the agencies better fulfill their assigned political tasks.
In the period of 2013 - 2023, the results achieved from the coordination activities have contributed to improving the effectiveness of the parties' work. Every year, through the local budget audit activities, the State Audit Office has advised and helped the People's Council of Thai Binh province to improve the direction, administration, management and use of public finance and public assets. The information and data exchanged between the State Audit Office and the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee have had a positive effect on local authorities at all levels and functional agencies of the province in developing and implementing socio-economic development plans, making budget estimates, preventing corruption and waste, promoting the role of people's supervision over the activities of state agencies, organizations and individuals assigned to manage and use state money and assets. At the same time, the active and effective coordination of the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee of Thai Binh province has contributed to helping the State Audit Office successfully complete the annual audit plan assigned by the National Assembly.
It can be affirmed that the coordination between the State Audit Office and the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the People's Committee of Thai Binh province over the past 10 years has been closely implemented, put into practice, focused, key points, ensuring the set goals with practical contents, suitable to the requirements and tasks of each agency, demonstrated in the following aspects: Developing an audit plan; conducting audits; implementing audit conclusions and recommendations; coordinating in monitoring, examining, deciding on budget estimates and approving budget settlements, managing and operating local budgets, supervising the activities of audit teams and State Auditors; coordinating in training and coaching to improve knowledge in the field of finance and budget for elected representatives as well as in developing, amending, supplementing, and disseminating draft laws, legal documents, documents on policies and regimes related to the activities of the State Audit Office and the People's Council and the People's Committee of the province.

Continue to coordinate more closely with local authorities
In addition to the leadership and direction of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the Government, the support and assistance of the Central Committees, ministries, branches and agencies, it can be said that the timely and effective accompaniment and support of the State Audit Office, especially the State Audit Office of Region XI, has contributed to helping the Party Committee, government and people of Thai Binh province successfully and comprehensively implement the goals and tasks, achieving comprehensive results in all fields.
Accordingly, the province's economy has always maintained a fairly high growth rate. From the beginning of 2024 to now, Thai Binh province has maintained a fairly high economic growth rate with an estimated GRDP of VND 33,657 billion, an increase of 7.96% over the same period in 2023. The budget revenue structure has shifted positively, domestic budget revenue is always among the provinces and cities with the highest revenue in the country contributing to the Central Government. By the end of September 2024, the total domestic budget revenue in Thai Binh province reached more than VND 7,509 billion, reaching 87.5% of the estimate, an increase of 39.9% over the same period.
The local political and social situation is always stable, national defense and security are ensured, national border and island sovereignty is maintained; the work of building the political system continues to be promoted, with many innovations; the organization of the political system is streamlined, operating effectively and efficiently. The leadership method, executive and management capacity of the government are improved, many new models, breakthrough and creative ways of doing things have achieved clear results and have been proven in practice. The great national unity bloc is strengthened; the people's trust in the Party and the government is consolidated and significantly enhanced.
The audits always select important issues that are of interest to provincial authorities, with the quality of audit activities constantly being improved. At the same time, they focus on assessing the economy, efficiency, effectiveness of management, and use of public finance and public assets; in which, they focus on auditing local budgets, auditing construction investment projects, national target programs, etc.
In the coming time, the State Audit Office will continue to coordinate more closely with localities to effectively implement audit work, while sharing and providing information to help the province make timely and effective decisions in state management.
